Dandong Village in Danba

This is a driving tour. You need to hire a car to drive for 2 hours from Danba to get to Dandong. Dandong is a secluded village hidden far away from any tourism or city 80km northeast to the town of Danba. The elevation of Dandong is at 3300m and its beauty is usually neglected due to the famous Moska Marmot village or the neighboring Dangling Lakes. It is worth to hire a car from Danba to drive here to see the authentic and real village of Danba Tibetan people.

Near the center of village there is a natural hot spring you can go use and it is free of charge. There is also a river bend that created a cresent part of land that locals call The Moon Bend. Dandong is not a famous place comparing to other places in Danba but it is an authentic one.
