Zhonglu is the most beautiful Tibetan Village in Danba. Hiking is one of the best way to fully explore the village of Zhonglu. Total around 4-6km walking from the center of village to Photo Spot No. 1 and then walk to Photo Spot No.2, before arrive to Photo Spot No.3 and then down to Salake Temple. The hiking will provide you a thorough visit to plenty of photo stops along the way. If you don't wish to walk you can hire a car to skip walking since most part are roads and good to drive on. The visit takes around half day's time.

This is an easy-paced walk inside the village of Zhonglu where the trails and roads are safe and easy to walk.
Rain proof and Sun block are also necessary when you come to hike in Danba. The average elevation of this hiking is over 2200 meters. Weather changes quickly.
Traveling to the listed places will expect lower standard services at hotels and restaurants even if they maybe the best choices. The service level is not as up to what you have in places like Chengdu. The hotel people don't speak English nor do the people from restaurants. These places are quite far, wild but beautiful. As authenticity comes often with less comfortability. Public Toilet can be really bad. You are always recommended to use your toilet in your hotel while you don't want to use the public toilet or do it in the open wild. You are recommended to have toilet paper with you. Food are with limited options at most of the places. Basically you can find Chinese Food with Sichuan style. On a guided trip you can have them customized into vegetarian or non/less spicy.
