Get into Yading Park: Schedules of Tourist Bus of Yading Park

This page is about the transfers within Yading Park. It consists of two parts: a. from Yading Park Entrance to Yading at Zhaguanbeng by bus; b. from Yading at Chonggu Temple to Luorong Yak Ranch by golf car. (Between Zhaguanbeng to Chonggu Temple there is an inevitable walking of around 500m)

Part One: Tourist Bus from Yading Entrance at Riwa to Yading

The tourist bus of Yading Park is one transfer every visitor has to take. It starts from Yading Park Entrance at Riwa and goes to Yading Park at Zhaguanbeng. This part of transfer is usually sold along with the entrance ticket to visitors to Yading Park.

To buy the Yading Park Tourist Bus one does it at the Yading Park Tourist Center and along with the Yading Entrance Ticket. From the entrance of Yading Park to the other terminal(at Zhaguanbeng) is about 38km and takes nearly 1 hour. There are now only 1 seasonal schedule of the Yading Tourist Bus but in different seasons the exact time may differ.

The Tourist Bus from Riwa to Zhaguanbeng will have stops at near Zhaguanbeng at Yading Village with total 6 stops if passengers wish to stop. The 6 stops are the total 6 locations of Yading Village where the hostels are located. There are also buses running between Yading Village and Zhaguanbeng every day.

From the offical announcement from Yading Park issued by July 2019 the tourist bus schedules are as follows.

a. Tourist entrance tickets and tourist bus tickets of Yading office time is from 06:20am to 04:40pm.

b. Tourist bus from Tourist Center(Riwa) to Zhaguanbeng (Yading Park) is from 06:30am to 06:30pm, last bus from Tourist Center to Yading Park is by 5:00pm (?).

c. From Yading Village to Zhaguanbeng every morning the earliest bus is from 7:00am and it takes about 10 minutes to get to Zhaguanbeng.

Notice: Fromer travel experts of Sichuan Travel Guide experience, in the busy travel seasons (July - October) the tourist buses sometimes runs between 6:30am from Yading Ticket Office and coming back from Yading Park to Riwa the latest bus from Zhaguanbeng is by 07:00pm. In low seasons (December to March) the buses depart by after 07:00am from Ticket Office and latest bus back from Zhaguanbeng can be as early as 05:00pm. As the schedules keep changing all the years please do pay attention to the actual notice given by the park when you travel to Daocheng Yading

Part Two: Golf Car between Chonggu Temple and Luorong Yak Ranch

After the tourist bus arrives at Zhaguanbeng, one needs to walk for around 500m to Chonggu Temple and use golf car to get to Luorong Yak Ranch and from where walk to Milk Lake and Five-color Lake. (Please note for visitors only goes to Pearl Lake don't need to use the golf Car).

There are 4 seasonal schedules of the Yading Golf Car.

01.March to May: First car departs by Chonggu at 08:30 and last car depart from Luorong Yak Ranch at 18:00.

02.June to August: First car departs by Chonggu at 08:00 and last car depart from Luorong Yak Ranch at 18:30.

03.September to November: First car departs by Chonggu at 07:00 and last car depart from Luorong Yak Ranch at 18:30.

04.December to February: First car departs by Chonggu at 09:00 and last car depart from Luorong Yak Ranch at 17:00.

The golf car from Chonggu Temple to Luorong Yak Ranch covers a total of 7km and takes about 20 minutes. It costs CNY80 yuan for round trip and CNY50 for a single trip. Tickets are sold at site.

Notice: The golf cars are small and the drivers are usually not well-organized. They tend to push visitors and not being very nice. A golf car takes usually 10-12 passengers and they use hard seats. Travelers hereby are recommended to take care of your possesions as you don't have much space in a golf car here and often it is easy to lose something in it due to difficulty of moving around/wanting to take photos from the car.
