By Lower Range of Emei

There are plenty of options at each locations by the lower range of Emei Mountain. At least more than one options here provides better prices and relatively better services at the hostels or guesthouses. By monasteries there are guesthouses and rooms of different levels.

Baoguo Templeis a monastery that you can drive to. They provide 2-beded standard rooms with prices at CNY3000 to CNY3600 per night, as well as 2-beded, 3-beded and 4-beded rooms at prices between CNY150 to CNY200. Please note some monasteries by lower range of Emei may not take foreigners. Please double check this with monastery when you make your plans.

Wuxiangang Car Park can be accessed by cars so the local small hotels there are available and more than one. Qingyin Lake is located between Wuxiangang and Qingyin Pavilion, there are at least 10 guesthouses there provide accommodation services. Qingyin Lake is a good option to stay overnight by the lower part of the mountain in Emei.

Wannian Car Park is also able to be accessed by cars so the local farmers run their guesthouse for travelers. There are more than one places that provide accommodation services here.

By the monasteries of Fuhu Temple, Leiyin Monastery and Chunyang Temple. They all provide accommodations. These hotels can't be accessed by cars only by foot or motorbikes.

By Middle Part of Emei

Middle part of Emeishan are further into the mountains and usually can not be accessed by cars but only foot. Most of the places that provide accommodations are monasteries and temples.

Bailongdong Temple is a small monastery located between Wannian Temple and Qingyin Pavilion. It also prpvides accommodations. Its phone number is +86 18990610009.

Wannian Temple is the biggest temple and the one with the most historical significance in Mt. Emei. You can stay by Wannian Temple. They provide 2-bedded standard room with attached bathroom for CNY800 per night. And they also provide bunks that cost CNY10 to CNY20 per person per night. Xianfeng Monastery is one of the biggest monasteries in Emei Mountain and it provides different levels of rooms. The best one they provide costs CNY600 per night that has attached bothroom. The others don't have private bathroom that cost between CNY200 to CNY400 per room. The bunks cost CNY50-70 per person. Plain vegetarian food available. There is one food store outside of the temple. Xixin Monastery provides only basic accommodations and plain vegetarian food.

Note at Jiulinggang Ridge there are 2 food stores provide very basic accommodations.

Elephant Bathing Pool (Xixiangchi) is a very big monastery in the middle part of Emei. It has plenty of rooms including the CNY480 per night room with attached bathroom, and CNY360 room, and CNY200 (for 2) and CNY180 ( for 3) room without private bathroom. Bunk cost CNY50 per person. By Higher Part of Emei

Lingjue Monastery is a new-built monastery. It is located by Leidongping Car Park. They provide accommodations too. Phone number: +86 833 5567992

Leidongping Car Park has around 10 local hotels. They are acctually clean and comfortable. You get more options here that staying by the summit. At Leidongping the hotels are fine and less expensive than the summit.

Jieyin Monastery is located at above Leidongping Car Park by the cable car station. Their 3-beds room cost CNY180 and 4-beds room costs CNY200. Bunk costs CNY30 per person.

Taiziping Monastery is located between Jieyin Monastery the the Golden Summit. It is small and it also provides basic accommodations. Per person costs CNY80 to CNY100 per bunk. Outside of the monastery there are a couple of food stores. Taiziping can be the closest and cheapest option for people who wants to walk to the summit to watch the sunrise of Emei.
