Tsopu Park is also called Tsopugou (Tsopu Valley), or Zhopu Valley, Zhopu Lake. Before 2020 it was a wild valley with monasteries and beautiful lakes and mountains. From 2020 it has been built into a tourist park that an entrance fee is requried to visit and has a more organized visiting.
Ganzi is far and its beauty is usually not mentioned a lot in many travel books. Ganzi has a wild mountain range called Gangga. In Ganzi there is also a holy mountain called Kawalori, one of the least explore big mountains in Sichuan.
Tsoka Lake is not very big, but it has a variety of landscapes: blue sky, white clouds, green trees, green mountains, and red temples. This lake is often very quiet. When it is sunny, the lake water presents different levels of green, reflecting the Tsokha Temple, green pine forest and colorful Tibetan houses by the lake, which is extremely peaceful.
Bala Gezong Park is a nature park of mountain gorge, river, forest and rocky/towery mountains by the borderland of Yunnan and Sichuan Province. It is 100km south to Derong County and 80km north to Shangrila of Yunnan.
Luding is the first town into Garze from Chengdu. The famous Hailuogou Glacier Park and Yanzigou Valley are in Luding. Luding is home to some of the best Minya Konka view spots in Sichuan. Luding is home to Dadu River and the mountains on both sides: Daxueshan Mountain Range and Jiajinshan Mountain Range.
Xiangcheng is the passage way from Northern Yunnan to SW Sichuan and the main travel way to connect Daocheng Yading and Shangrila of Yunnan. Xiangcheng is called Chachen in Tibetan, it means the beads in the hand of Buddha. Xiangcheng is called the land of Shambala, the isolated paradise in Tibet.
