The First Panda Twin of Year 2016 Born in Chengdu

At around 6 AM of June 20th, a twin panda babies was born in Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, as the first twin panda of year 2016. They are two female panda babies. The elder sister weighs 144g, and the younger one weighs 113g, which is a very good healthy condition. Their dear mother is Ya Li who is a young mom only 7 years old. She was born in July of 2009 with also a twin sister Wen Li.

Yang Kuixing, doctoral panda expert in the base, introduced Ya Li began to appear sign of parturition on May 22th - starting to reduce appetite, walking around uneasily. All staffs in the base were very excited after seeing this. They realized new panda will come to our world. All the expectation was met on June 20 when the twin panda cubs were born.
