Panda Meizhu moving to New House in Guangzhou

The Giant Panda "Meizhu" in Guangzhou Moves to a New Home: On March 11th, "Meizhu", the first cub of the world's only surviving giant panda triplets "Mengmeng" and nearly 9 months old, moved to a new home. The zoo held a housewarming ceremony with Guangzhou characteristics and customized a "Cantonese-style housewarming meal" for it.

Traditional Lion Dance Performance: There was a wonderful intangible cultural heritage lion dance performance at the scene. Through links such as "dotting the eyes", "picking the greens", and "spitting out blessings", the lion dance actors sent their best wishes to "Meizhu". The "baby lion" wearing a mini lion dance costume interacted with the "big lion", which was extremely cute and interesting.

Neighbours and Friends in Chemalong Come to Congratulate: animals such as the sloth "Huahua", the chimpanzee "Duoduo", the orangutan "Sigua", the hornbill "Miguo", and the black-and-white ruffed lemur "Rourou", came to offer their congratulations one after another, presented "housewarming gifts", and also shared the same "housewarming meal" with "Meizhu".
