US - China "Panda Diplomacy" Resumes Since 2019

The China Wildlife Conservation Association recently reached an agreement with the Smithsonian Institution National Zoo in the United States. According to the agreement, a pair of giant pandas named "Baoli" (male, born in August 2021) and "Qingbao" (female, born in September 2021) from the China Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center will go to the United States later this year to start a new round of giant panda conservation and research cooperation.
