Rize Valley
Most of attractions in this 18km-long valley have remained well from the earthquake. But the vehicle road in this valley collapsed in the earthquake, especially the roads at Mirror Lake and Tiger Mouth. The local Tibetan village in the valley was also affected by the earthquake. The villagers have been rescued to safe settlements.
Zechawang Valley
There are several landslides in this 17km-long valley. The lakes and forests have survived well. But the roads were damaged by the earthquake. There are constant rockfalls along the roads between Down Season Lake and Long Lake.
Shuzheng Valley
Shuzheng Valley is the worst-hit area. There is a 50 meters long, 12 meters deep and 20 meters wide crevasse in Huohua Lake (Spark Lake). Nuorilang Waterfall at the top of this valley also got damaged. The earthquake broke a hole on the hillside of the waterfall. Most of plank roads in this valley collapsed.
Zharu Valley
More than 1km of road in the valley was damaged by the landslides. Some of houses of local Tibetan village in this valley got destroyed by the earthquake. Water pipe in the village have been damaged by the earthquake.
