Jiuzhaigou Is Now Open to Individual Travelers including Independent Travelers

Good news!!!!Jiuzhaigou is now open to independent travelers! There are up to 20,000 visitors allowed to visit the park each day.

The official website (jiuzhai.com) of Jiuzhaigou National Park released the "Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Supplementary Announcement on the Opening-up (Trial Operation) of Certain Areas" on the evening of the 28th November, 2019. According to the post-disaster restoration and reconstruction and trial operation of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, the scenic area is now open to individual tourists.

According to the supplementary notice, the maximum number of single-day tourist capacity in the open area of Jiuzhaigou National Park has been upgraded from 8,000 to 20,000. Jiuzhaigou National Park is currently open for a limited time and is open daily from 8:30 to 17:00. Tourists can enter the scenic spots in Zechawa Valley, Shuzheng Valley (except for Sea of Sparks), Rize Valley (Scenic Spots from Nuorilang to Wuhuahai).

At present (the off-season), the entrance ticket price is 80 yuan per person, and the sightseeing bus ticket is 80 yuan per person either. The Tickets have to be pre-purchased on the real-name system of the official website (www.abatour.com). There is no ticket purchase window in the park. Tourists can log in to website: www.abatour.com and reserve tickets with the second-generation ID card, passport or other identification information.
