Nuorilang Waterfall

At an altitude of 236.5 meters, Nuorilang Waterfall is one of the largest waterfalls in China. In Tibetan, Nuorilang means great and tall, so norilang waterfall means magnificent waterfall. The surging water comes from the Nuorilang Seas and flows down the top of the waterfall and make roaring noisy in the valley. At the south end of the river, the water is vast and cold, and the mist rises. In the morning, when the sun shines, you can often see rainbows hanging across the valley, which makes the waterfall more colorful and charming.

There is a viewing platform opposite the waterfall. Standing on the platform, you can have a panoramic view of the waterfall. In autumn, the 300 meter flying stream of the waterfall turns into a magnificent picture against the background of autumn color and clouds. Many films and TV plays have been set here.

The scenery of Nuorilang Waterfall changes in four seasons, day and night. In spring, it looks like a child who has just awakened, is running happily on the verdant cliff of the valley, creating an ethereal, green and vibrant scene. When the summer comes, the water volume of the waterfall increases, and its voice grows stronger and stronger. The water falls on the rocks under the waterfall, arousing tens of thousands of flowers, like silver beads scattered everywhere.

In the golden autumn season, the slopes of the valley are colorful. Like a heavy oil painting, the Norilang Waterfall is divided into countless streams among the red and yellow leaves when it is the most charming time of a year. When it comes to the middle of winter, the waterfall will change from flowing water to solid ice, and forms a picture of ice waterfall in various shapes. In the daytime,Nuorilang Waterfall is colorful and charming. When the night falls, with the bright moon is in the sky, the waterfall is as clear as silver slice.

Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station and Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station operate air-conditioned buses to Jiuzhaigou every morning. The ticket price is 149 yuan. After arriving at Jiuzhaigou, take sightseeing bus of the park to Nuorilang Waterfall.
