Join in a domestic group for Day Tour to Leshan Buddha and Huanglongxi Old Town at super low/affordable price. Visit Leshan Buddha and Huanglongxi Old Town in one day while traveling in Chengdu.
Book NowStart by meeting location in Chengdu by 7am and drive for around 2 hours to Leshan. Visit the 1200 years old Buddha statue built in Tang Dynasty, one of the largest sitting Buddha Statue in the world. This statue is total 71 meters tall and took 90 years to finish. “Buddha is the mountain and the mountain is a Buddha”. We will go walk inside the park and visit other sites within including Linyun Temple, Daxiong Temple, Jiuqu Stairs, Lingbao Pagoda.
After lunch we will then drive to Huanglongxi Old Town, a former important in-land port in Sichuan that has good location and beautiful views. The old town has everything that is old including street, trees, temple, dam, house even thought some were rebuilt.
After the visit we will drive back to Chengdu and tour ends.

1,Please note this is a "brought-in" tour from us. It will be run by another company who caters to doemstic travelers. We make it available for foreigners to join because it is cheaper than what we provide. You will be having contract with another company and not with us. Guide doesn't speak English please be aware of this before you sign up.
2,You will be exposed to local/on site shops/services that need you to pay if you buy/use that are not included in this tour package while visiting especially in Leshan. These are also beyond our control. These are not tourist traps. The usual tricks are: paid praying(Huan Yuan), photo with Buddha(inside Leshan Park), tea by the side of road, souvenirs shops. Please be aware of these and ask first before use their services/buy their stuff. These are not free even though they may appear otherwise.
3,lunch time is usually by between 12:00-13:00 although during certain seasons there may be delays due to crowds in the park or traffic.
4, Plan is adjustable according to the season, for example may go to Huanglongxi First and then Buddha. Please keep your passport with you all the time. Stay with the group all the time. Costs/delays/shut off of parks that are beyond our control and costs hereafter occur will not be our responsibility.
