Ice Climb (Frozen Waterfall Climb) is the activity of ascending ice formations. It is combination of ice climbing gear-use learning, roping technique, ice technical climbing. This trip is for ice-climbing beginners as well as advancers. 5-Day trip is aimed to improve climbers’ ability to climb ice and measure, know the risks of ice climb, to make climbers know and use the techniques of ice climb in future ice or mountain climbs.
Mt. Siguniang has sunny winter and temperature during daytime is at around 10C. It has over dozens of frozen waterfalls in Shuangqiao Valley. The best time to do Ice Climb in Siguniang is from December to the next February. In Shuangqiao it has the best icefalls of Siguniang some are over 100 meters, which give us many options. And some of the ices are very close to the road in Shuangqiao Valley, making them easy to be accessed by foot.

Mt. Siguniang
Being one of the best outdoor activity places in China, Mt. Siguniang boasts for its long history of having outdoor sports including trekking, ultra-marathon, rock climbing, ice climbing and mountain climbing and more. Its landscape is stunning with snow-capped mountains, winding rivers, beautiful waterfalls and icefalls, open valleys of forest and wild lives. Shuangqiao is a well-organized national park and provides easy access to the beautiful ice falls.
Skill-Based Ice Climb
Meet in Chengdu in the morning and go to Siguniang together. After arrival, acclimate to the altitude before check in. Meet climbing instructor and be briefed on the plan, gear check, and learn some basics of ice climb. Prepare for the next days climbing.

Climbing gears are provided as well as personal climbing gears including harness, crampons and boots, helmet.
Climbing is not for full day but rather when it is cold and safe;
