Dagu Glacier Park is a park of nature including glacier, wild animals, lakes, mountains and forest. Dagu Glacier Park is located in Heishui County, Ngawa Prefecture 320km northwest to Chengdu. Dagu Glacier Park is a well-built park after Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong in Ngawa Prefecture. Dagu is Tibetan: Da means glacier, Gu means deep valley, Dagu means "Glacier in Deep Valley".

The park of Dagu is located by the eastern part of Tibetan Plateau where lies the Qionglaishan Mountain Range. The glacier numbers 11 inside the park, with total size at 1.46kmsq, one of the main glacier clusters in easternmost glaciers in Asia. From its base to top is home to many wild animals including snub-nose golden monkeys, Tibetan macaques, blue sheep, red pandas, etc. Highlights of the park also include lakes, forest and mountains.

Dagu Glacier is thought to be hidden in the deep mountains before this park was set up. Glacier No.2 has a glacier cave. Glacier No.1 and No. 2 are connected and extend all the way to the right side of Dagu Mountain. The 4860 view platform is where visitors can get to by cable cars. This location provides very beautiful views of the mountains and glaciers. Its elevation is high at 4860m, almost by the top of mountains.
The forest inside Dagu Park is well-preserved. One who goes to the glacier will pass the forest first. Many of the trees are big and old. Rivers and streams go through the forest. Animals live inside the deep forest.
Golden Monkey Lake is named after the monkeys inside Dagu Park including golden sub-nose monkeys as well as Tibetan macaques. The Tibetan macaques come down to the lake every winter and looking for food from visitors. Golden Monkey Lake is the first one you see while entering the park. In autumn season it is a very picturesque place to visit in Dagu. Other lakes include Zena Lake and Dagu Lake, Dongtso Lake.
Loges is a Holy Mountain inside Dagu Glacier, a wide worshiped mountain in local culture. Loges means "Guardian of Mountains". Every May and September is the old pilgrimage season for local Tibetans that walking around the mountain is popular religious practice.
