Kitchen God is one of the gods from Taoism but worshiped more often than any other Taoist god. Every Chinese New Year this god was worshiped by every family in Sichuan. Some families may not go the temple to worship any Buddha or God but will worship this god historically. Kitchen God is the one that we believe to protect us to have enough to eat. It indicates a prosperous living that every one wishes. Here the shrine is small, which likes any other Kitchen God Shrine elsewhere, they are always small.
Aside from this, this museum itself is a nice place to walk around and see all kinds of things about Sichuan Food.
