Mount Siguniang is 200km west to Chengdu and from Mount Siguniang one can travel further to places such as: to its west to Danba Tibetan Village, Kangding, Tagong Grassland, Hailuogou Glacier Park, Litang and Daocheng Yading, to its north to Barkam, Sertar, Bipeng Valley, Jiuzhaigou, Huanlong, Ruo'ergai Grassland, etc.

Mount Siguniang can be the first stop or the last stop when doing a loop trip from Chengdu. Please note the western part of Sichuan Province is a vast area and the terrain is complicated so the roads are not direct and usually takes long hours to drive, for example, if one travels to Jiuzhaigou to Mount Siguniang, it will require 1 full day's drive, to go to Daocheng Yading from Mount Siguniang, it requires around 12 hours of driving. If you only have 2 places in mind that you wish to visit, for example, Mount Siguniang and YAding, then you are recommended to make stops along the way to see more things including Danba Villages and Tagong Grassland, because these places are also beautiful and unique and you will pass these places anyway.
