Mount Siguniang is located in Rilong Town whih is about 200km away from Chengdu. It is under the precinct of Xiaojin County of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Region of Sichuan Province. It takes about 4.5 hours to get there by driving from Chengdu. The town of Rilong is now called Siguniang Mountain Town, after the name of Mount Siguniang. Mount Siguniang Town is located 56km east to Xiaojin town and 110km east to Danba Town. The elevation of Rilong is at 3000 meters. This region is by the east edge of the Tibetan Plateau.
